SURFACE WARFARE NUCLEAR PROPULSION OFFICER
LT Adam Thom grew up in Glencoe, Minnesota. He commissioned through Officer Candidate School in 2014 after graduating from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
LT Thom’s sea tours include serving onboard USS MICHAEL MURPHY (DDG 112), out of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, as both the Gunnery Officer and Fire Control Assistant, and onboard USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN (CVN 72) as Reactor Mechanical Division Officer and Reactor Auxiliaries Division Officer.
Ashore LT Thom attended Naval Nuclear Power Training Command and Nuclear Power Training Command in Charleston, SC.
LT Thom is currently pursuing a Masters of Business Administration from the Carlson School of Management.
